The Weblog

The Online Market is open for ordering from 8 AM Wednesday till 8 PM on Thursday.
Spring time is upon us again. The planting of vegetables and flowers is in full spead as we work to provide an aboundance of fresh new products. Please feel free to make your selections from the great products available this week.

Remember the New Customer Referral Program
From March 20 through June 30

How it Works
1. Tell a friend about the CUMMING HARVEST farmers market.
2. Have them register at cumming.locallygrown.net. (the market managers will contact all new customers to ask who referred them)
3. After their third purchase (3 different weeks), your credit will be applied to your account.
Thank you for sharing your love of healthy food and for helping to support our local growers!

This week on The Cumming Harvest

The market opens at 10AM.

This week the market has a bounty of vegetables. Make sure to have the freshest food on your table this weekend: roasted carrots and turnips, savory Swiss Chard, or Kale Waldorf Salad all sound delicious to me!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Don’t forget your deviled eggs! Although fresh eggs can be more difficult to peel than older eggs, we all know that the taste is far superior. Bramberi Farms has even listed an Easter basket- ready dozen.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And for dessert, strawberries are here again! (You have to be quick on the ordering to get these; they will be gone in a flash.) Or skip the fuss but still serve homemade and order one of HomeSpun Baking Company’s fabulous tortes or pies- Blueberry Almond, Cherry Almond, Dutch Apple or Pecan.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Next week is the first of April, the perfect time to plant your veggies and herbs! Heirloom Gardens and Leilani’s Garden have 19 different vegetables, herbs and flowers for sale on the market, everything from coleus to kale to chamomile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also on the market this week:
Bramberi Farm – listed several lamb products
Cultured Traditions
Doug’s Wild Alaskan Salmon
Lillian’s Sweet Hawaiian
My Daily Bread
and many others
