The Weblog

The Online Market is open for ordering from 8 AM Wednesday till 8 PM on Thursday.
Spring time is upon us again. The planting of vegetables and flowers is in full spead as we work to provide an aboundance of fresh new products. Please feel free to make your selections from the great products available this week.

Remember the New Customer Referral Program
From March 20 through June 30

How it Works
1. Tell a friend about the CUMMING HARVEST farmers market.
2. Have them register at cumming.locallygrown.net. (the market managers will contact all new customers to ask who referred them)
3. After their third purchase (3 different weeks), your credit will be applied to your account.
Thank you for sharing your love of healthy food and for helping to support our local growers!

We're still closed for construction

Good Evening.

The crews are replacing sheet-rock and carpet in our area this coming week. :( So we still closed at this time and will NOT open for Wednesday ordering tomorrow as originally planned. I am checking the market progress every day and will update you regularly.

With the pending weather this week I guess this couldn’t have happened at a better time. Farmers will surely be taking a break from harvesting and spend time protecting their plants and farm animals.

I’m sorry for this inconvenience, there usually isn’t a break in our schedule except for a holiday or dangerous weather.

Thank you so much for your patience!

Suzanne

The Market is CLOSED this week.

Good Afternoon!

Unfortunately we’re going to have to cancel this Saturday’s market. When I stopped by the market today both units were roped off with caution tape and an emergency restoration company was inside cleaning damage. You can imagine my concern as I walked down the stairs. Apparently, suite 200 (to the right of us) had a toilet overflow and water filled the floor/ceiling, walls and carpet for 2 days straight. They have removed all the sheet-rock, insulation and carpet/pad from suite 200.

The market has damage to the walls, ceiling and carpet but not enough to remove it. They have several fans and dehumidifiers in every room of the market drying everything. They plan to replace the padding, lower 2’ of drywall and baseboards this week and couldn’t tell me exactly when they would be finished but that it would be done this week.

I’m sorry for this inconvenience but I hope you all have a great New Year!

The market will reopen for ordering on Sunday at 10am and stay open till Monday at 8pm. Pick up will be Wednesday from 12-1pm. At this time we’ll be back to our regular schedule.

Thank you for all your support in 2013!
Suzanne
